The spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, confirmed that the Hamas delegation is currently in Moscow, where they will hold talks with Russian officials.
In addition to Hamas representatives, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani is currently in Moscow and will also hold talks with numerous diplomats.
“I can say and confirm that representatives of the Palestinian movement Hamas are visiting Moscow,” Zakharova said.
As previously reported by the Russian media, one of those in the Hamas delegation is a member of the politburo, Musa Abu Marzouk, who is also leading the leadership in the visit to Moscow.
Let us remind you that representatives of Hamas have previously held a series of meetings, including the one attended by the leaders of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine and the Lebanese organization Hezbollah.
