13524223_1218963931487894_1349443927_oConclusion about the solving of the status of the building of the former Feroelektro, in the Mula Mustafe Bašeskije Street number 16, was adopted at the session of the council of the Stari Grad Municipality after 17 years.

The remains of this facility have been removed several months ago when Zlatko Krainović, the former owner of 35 percent of the facility, sold his part to the investor “KOL” Ltd., the company that invested in the executed works.

The Municipal Council of Stari Grad accepted the offer for the sale of the municipal share of 35 percent, by the right of pre-emption, to the investor “KOL” for three million BAM. Moreover, a conclusion was adopted that the part of the funds generated from the sale of the facility is used for finalization of the construction of the children’s playground in Obhodža, the children’s playground in Ablagijin sokak, and for the completion of construction of the primary school “Vrhbosna”.

Part of the funds, in the amount of 500.000 BAM, will be directed at the construction of the Sarajevo cable car, but the funds will not be paid before the next session of the Municipal Council that will be held in August. The City Administration of Sarajevo must deliver the main project of the construction of the cable car to the Municipal Council Stari Grad by then.

The buyer “KOL” will build a luxurious hotel at this location.
