“Cleanliness comes from human first and environmental awareness must be built up all the time”, is only one of the messages of traditional eco-activity “Most”, which was traditionally organized by Diving Club Neretva in cooperation with associations of citizens “Stari Grad” and “Sinovi Mahale” from Mostar, Canoe Club Neretva and Alpinist-sports climbing club “Neretva”, and it gathered a lot of people on the shores of this beautiful river again this year.

Cleaning activity included riverbed of Neretva River from Tito’s Bridge to “Hasan Brkic” Bridge, shores of rivers Neretva and Radobolja, and the walls of the towers and the Old Bridge.

“As every year, we have a great response of associations and citizens, there are our friends divers from Sarajevo and Split, mountain rescue services, two orders of scouts, and the turnout is always excellent when it comes to this activity,” said Miro Dusic, on behalf of the organizers from Diving Club Neretva.

“This is a great activity and a really great occasion as well,” said Dzevad Pasic, the President of the association”Sinovi Mahale”.

The association “Sinovi Mahale” is always there when it comes to this kind of activities, especially the attempt to transfer the love for this city on the younger generations,” noted Pasic.

Participants of this eco activity were secured by Interventional rescue service in Mostar, and the general sponsor of this activity is the Tourist Association of HNC.
