Hasanovic demands a Public Apology from BiH Minister of Finance

Deputy Minister of Finance of Bosnia and Herzegovina Muhamed Hasanović (SDP) reacted to the scandalous statement of the Minister of Finance of Bosnia and Herzegovina Srđan Amidžić (SNSD), in which he insulted Muslims and a member of the Board of Directors of the Indirect Taxation Administration Zijad Krnjić.

In response to Amidžić’s controversial claims, Hasanović says that this is an attempt to hide the large number of scandals in which the SNSD is involved.

“Srđan Amidžić obviously thinks that by making noise, insulting Bosniaks and making statements in the manner of a great nationalist, he will hide the fact that the SNSD is leaving behind debts, failed arbitrations, economic chaos and an empty coffers. The worse the situation in Republika Srpska, the louder their outbursts of hatred towards Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosniaks,” he said.
He also added that Amidžić receives money as a state minister, along with the rhetoric that BiH “does not exist”.

“It’s interesting how Bosnia and Herzegovina ‘doesn’t exist’ only in front of the cameras when they have to play thugs for their own electorate. But when they have to take a ministerial salary, use state institutions, sit in armchairs and dispose of all citizens’ money, then BiH is quite good for them,” said Hasanović.

The Deputy Minister of Finance also assessed the current minister’s ability to lead this institution.

“Amidžić behaves as if he were running a tavern, not one of the most important financial institutions of the state. Instead of explaining where the results are, where the investments are and how they managed to bring RS into a state of financial dependence and international embarrassment, he chooses to insult Bosniaks and incite hatred. That speaks volumes about him, but even more so about the policies he represents,” he said.

Finally, he pointed out that Amidžić has no results or knowledge.

“When a politician has no results, then he looks for enemies. When he has no knowledge, then he makes noise. When he has no arguments, then he insults the people. SNSD has become a political group of people completely disconnected from reality that has long since ceased to offer anything but anger, division and constant poisoning of the public space. For the shameful insults and humiliation of Bosniaks, I demand that Srđan Amidžić publicly apologize to us Bosniaks,” said Muhamed Hasanović.
