Head of EU Delegation Sorensen and EU Diplomats to Visit Trebinje on Wednesday

Trebinje-BiHHead of the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina/EUSR, Ambassador Peter Sorensen, will visit Trebinje tomorrow. Ambassador Sorensen will be accompanied by a group of EU member states diplomats accredited to Bosnia and Herzegovina: Ambassador of Sweden, Frederik Schiller, Ambassador of Spain, Maria Aurora Mejia Errasquin, Ambassador of Austria, Martin Pammer, Ambassador of Romania, Filip Teodorescu, Ambassador of Croatia, Ivan Del Vechio, Head of Belgian Diplomatic Bureau, Jean-Pierre Biebuyck and Deputy Head of Mission of France, Francois Legue.

All levels of government have various tasks with regard to the process of EU integration and this visit is an opportunity to discuss EU related issues with local authorities in the City of Trebinje. Important EU funded projects are also in the agenda of this visit.

The meeting with Mayor of Trebinje Slavko Vučurević and City of Trebinje Assembly Speaker, Slobodan Prtilo will take place at 09:00, followed by media statements of Ambassador Sorensen, the Mayor of Trebinje and the attending diplomats from the EU member states.

Head of the EU Delegation to BiH/EUSR and EU diplomats will also visit the Trebinje District Court.
