The Roma Women’s Association-Center for Mothers ‘”Izvor života“ (Source of Life) from Vitez is implementing a project called ‘Health Week for Roma Population’.
This project is implemented in cooperation with the US-Jewish Organization and Health Center in Vitez.
As part of the project, there will be workshops for women dedicated to reproductive health and the importance of vaccinations.
President of the Association Jadranka Musić said that Roma people are in a very difficult situation when it comes to treatment, because many do not have health insurance.
Nela Hasić from the US-Jewish humanitarian organization said that this organization has been implementing this program for ten years, and are mostly focused on breast cancer.
