A protest organized by the Sarajevo Canton Health Workers Union has been announced for today in front of the main entrance to the KCUS.

The President of the Sarajevo Canton Health Workers Union Senad Sadiković previously said that the goal of the protest is the appointment of the General Director and the Management Board of the Clinical Center, as well as the application of the rulebook to all employees and the payment of debts to employees.

He specified that there are currently 2,000 lawsuits in the Clinical Center for violations of the Collective Agreement and that the current Management is doing nothing to resolve these problems.

The University of Sarajevo Clinical Center informed the public that today, despite the announced peaceful protests, it will work according to regular protocols, without interruption, at all Clinics.

“Continuous provision of health services at all OUs/Clinics will be carried out according to the regular schedule. The health of citizens is the priority of the work of the University of Sarajevo Clinical Center, and under no circumstances will we deny the right to treatment to our patients,” the KCUS announced.
