The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina held a hearing on the extension of detention for Security Minister Nenad Nešić, Director of the Legend company Mladen Lučić and Director of the Republika Srpska Roads Milan Dakić.

The BiH Prosecutor’s Office proposed to the Court of BiH to extend their detention for another two months. Prosecutor Bojana Jolović cited the fear of influencing witnesses as the main reason for the extension of detention.

She said that someone influenced the witnesses while they were arrested in the “Tunnel 2” operation in custody.

It was also said that on January 20, the investigation against Nešić was expanded due to additional evidence.

Nešić, Lučić and Dakić were arrested in December last year as part of the “Tunnel 2” operation.

The BiH Prosecutor’s Office charges them with “association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses, abuse of official position or authority and accepting bribes”.
