A video was published on social media that will take many back in time and remind them of what the airport in Sarajevo used to look like.

In a short video, see the infrastructure that today’s Sarajevo International Airport had at its disposal at that time.

Of course, in the foreground are the planes of the then-national company JAT, that is, Yugoslav Airline (Jugoslovenski Aerotransport).

Also, the interior of the airport was significantly different than today, and the video also shows a gift shop where you could buy cigarettes, but also many drinks, primarily from Western countries.

In addition to the airport, the video, which was originally released in 1983, in a way shows the “spirit” of the time itself, the cars that were the most represented on the streets of Sarajevo in that period.

Moreover, it can be seen that domestic companies also had their premises at the airport, and one of them was Sipad, a former giant in the wood industry, Klix.ba reports.
