Long queues were recorded in front of the Post office in Novi Grad municipality, where CIPS (Citizens Identity Protection System) residence application forms are issued. Namely, citizens are collecting the necessary documentation to exercise their right to a one-time financial aid from the European Union (EU).
A public call for assistance to energy-poor households was announced on October 23rd.
The project will cover 109.000 households, and the funds will be disbursed by municipalities or cities.
Households that will exercise the right to financial assistance are divided into four categories.
The first category consists of households in which financially uninsured and incapacitated adults live who do not have the necessary means to support themselves, and to whom the right to permanent financial assistance was paid in the 12th month of 2022.
The second category consists of households where children live, which, until the conclusion of the call, have achieved the right to child allowance.
The third category consists of households in which no more than two members are entitled to a pension, in an amount not higher than the amount of the guaranteed pension for the 12th month of 2022.
The fourth category consists of households in which, during the previous calendar year, one or more minor children, due to the death or unknown identity of the other parent, lived with only one parent, who did not generate income during that period, and who are taxed according to the income tax regulations, or did not earn income based on employment, in an amount higher than the amount of the lowest salary in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH).
Citizens who wish to apply for this type of one-time assistance are required to fill out the application form available on the website of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy or on the premises of municipalities and cities and submit with it the form of the list of family members and the CIPS application form of all household members, Klix.ba reports.
