The High Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, participated in the 18th Dubrovnik Forum, organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.

On that occasion, he joined global and regional leaders, diplomats and experts in a panel discussion entitled “The Western Balkans and the Euro-Atlantic Path: Trust, Transparency, Transformation”.

“New geopolitical realities only strengthen the vision of a united Europe and confirm the belief that there is no viable alternative to Euro-Atlantic integration. Despite the political crisis, which is hindering the process of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s accession to the EU, the country must remain firmly committed to this goal,” said the High Representative.

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković made a statement on the X network, where he announced that he continues regular communication with the High Representative on the situation in BiH.

“With the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, we continue to conduct a regular dialogue about the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the further European path, which is important for the stability and prosperity of the country,” wrote Plenković.
