sjednica-pfbih-foto-nap1House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH approved the loan for FBiH from the International Monetary Fund. The entire IMF loan for BiH that will be paid over the next three years amounts to around one billion 80 million BAM. Two thirds belong to the FBiH and one third belongs to the RS.

Fifty-six delegates voted for the loan, two were sustained and 17 delegates were against.

The opposition claims that the Government of FBiH took the loan without Parliament’s consent. Around 150 million BAM have already been paid to the account of the Central Bank of BiH. Around 50 million BAM are intended for RS and around 100 million BAM are for FBiH. The Government of FBiH asked for consent from the federal Parliament only after the money arrived to BiH.

The FBiH needs money from the IMF so that the government could pay wages to civil servants, around 7.500 of them who work in that BiH entity.
