How much the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo allocated for Scholarships?

schoolThe Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo allocated 450,000 BAM for scholarships for successful students in the school year 2015/16, of which 25,000 BAM will be awarded to students who achieved top sports results.

A total of 976 candidates applied to the public call, which was published on the 15th of October 2015, and 448 of them received scholarships according to the success they have achieved.

Part of the funds will be given to students with specific needs and exceptionally gifted students for the cultural, artistic, and sports achievements in the school year 2015/16.

Municipality of Novi Grad provides scholarships for a large number of students. For students of primary schools scholarships amount to 500 BAM, for high school students 750 BAM, and for students of universities the scholarship amounts to 1,000 BAM per year.

Starting from this year, the Municipality is providing funds for scholarships for students who achieved top sports results. After the end of the competition season, public invitation for sports scholarships will be announced.
