At the end of last year, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) purchased a Passat B8 luxury car for 91.800 BAM. The same car was purchased by the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PABiH), but for 94.440 BAM.
Both vehicles were purchased at the same car dealership in Sarajevo, with just three days of difference. The Ministry bought it on December 17th, and the PABiH three days later.
Question – why and how is the same limousine more expensive than the other by 2.640 BAM? In the offer and on the invoices, neither of these two institutions received a discount.
These are identical vehicles VW Passat B8 FL Elegance 2.0 TDI DSG 4Motion, with an engine volume of 1.968 cmm and ks/KS 147/200.
Both the Ministry headed by Vojin Mitrovic (SNSD) and the PABiH chose the Passat with the best equipment, automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive.
The Ministry received an offer of 78.461 BAM plus VAT, and the PABiH received an offer of 80.717 BAM plus VAT.
Mitrovic bought the car before his departure from the ministerial position because the official vehicle broke down, so a new limousine is waiting for the future minister, which is apparently Edin Forto (Our Party).
The second vehicle, the more expensive one, will be used by the leadership of the PABiH for its own needs, and the difference in price could be the subject of investigative bodies.
