Residents of the Gaza Strip, exposed to brutal Israeli attacks for more than five months, are increasingly facing food shortages.

For the first time in months, trucks with humanitarian aid arrived on Saturday night in the northern part of Gaza, which is particularly facing hunger.

The trucks have arrived at the warehouses of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNRWA), after which the aid will be distributed to the Palestinians.

People in the north of Gaza welcomed with great enthusiasm the humanitarian aid trucks that mean life to them.

Israel launched attacks on the Gaza Strip after October 7 last year and a cross-border attack by Hamas, and since then at least 31,645 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed and 73,676 injured.

On January 26, following a genocide lawsuit filed by the Republic of South Africa, the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel must refrain from any actions related to the killing, attacks and destruction of the residents of the Gaza Strip and take all measures to prevent genocide, Anadolu Agency reports.
