Hundred Competitors at the B&H Championship

bicikHundred competitors from numerous clubs of the Republic of Srpska and of the Federation of B&H participate at the B&H Mountain Bike Championship in Vlasenica.

The competitions are held on the 3,5 km long Lijepa Ravan road. The participants are teams from Bihać, Bosanska Krupa, Banja Luka, Doboj, Tuzla, Sarajevo, Modriča, Živinice, Goražde, Široki Brijeg and the hosts – members of the Bike club KPL from Vlasenica.

During this Championship the competitors are given the chance to win UCI points necessary to participate in the international competitions and the Olympics in Brazil in 2016. – said the Organization team’s captain Željko Lukić for Srna agency.

“According to our guests, the track here is pretty demanding and hard to pass, but well prepared” – states Lukić who is also President of the KPL club.

The director of the Cycling Federation of B&H Vladimir Kuvelja concluded that the track is well prepared for the competition.

“The track is rather demanding and interesting at the same time which means those who are best prepared will win.” – said Kuvelja.

The sponsors of the competition are Municipality of Vlasenica and the Cycling Federation of B&H.
