Hurtic-Al Ahmadi: Saudi Arabia is a proven Friend of BiH

The Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sevlid Hurtić met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bosnia and Herzegovina Osamah Dakhel R. Al Ahmadi.

Minister Hurtić said that Saudi Arabia is a proven friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has been confirmed in the past more than three decades through various types of support and aid, which include investments, humanitarian, educational and cultural projects.

He especially thanked the ambassador for the project of renovation of housing units from the loan funds of the Saudi Development Fund, which has so far completed 690 housing units throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He said that the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina remains a partner of the embassy for all future joint projects, which are under the jurisdiction of this Ministry.

Ambassador Al Ahmadi reiterated Saudi Arabia’s strong support for a united and stable Bosnia and Herzegovina, and introduced the minister to projects in the fields of health, education and humanitarian work, which have been implemented in recent years in our country, with a focus on the activities of the “King Fahd” Cultural Center, it was announced from the Cabinet of Minister Hurtić.
