Two schoolboys from the Tešanj High school developed a unique application – online school diary to which professors, parents and pupils will have immediate access.
After six months of work, Himzo Hasak and Venan Osmić, pupils of the Informatics at the Tešanj High school “Musa Ćazim Ćatić” presented their application. This way, parents get everyday insight on behaviour and grades of every pupil and communication between teachers and parents improves as well.
Online diary was created as a social net of one of the departments at the Informatics direction. Soon it became an electronic version of school diary for the entire school. The approval for introducing this kind of web application came from the Pedagogic Institute and the Ministry of education of the Zenica – Doboj canton.
“This web application is destined to a better insight to all statistics related to each pupil as well as to professor’s statistics. Parents get insight to their pupil’s progress, teachers to their classes and director to the entire school” – said Osmić, while Hasak pointed out that the majority of professors already uses it in school.
Hasak and Osmić won many prizes at the local and foreign competitions in informatics and web design.
