This year, Sarajevo will host the most important scientific event in the field of nephrology, the Bantao Congress, which will gather experts from the field of nephrology, dialysis, and transplants.
Hundreds of nephrologists from all over the world will be at the congress, and the “Regional Workshop” will be held during the congress under the auspices of International Society of Nephrology (ISN), where will be presented the Sister Renal Center program in BiH, led by Dr. Rumeyza Kazancioglu, President of the Commission for South East Europe.
The Bantao Congress will be held between October 4 and 8, 2017, within which will be held the CME course (the course of continuing medical education) under the auspices of ERA-EDTA (European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplant Association) and ISN (International Society of Nephrology).
The ERA-EDTA established an Activation Committee for South Eastern Europe with the goal of improving education in the field of nephrology, dialysis, and transplantation in the member countries, including BiH. It is important that a meeting of the Activation Committee will be held during the Bantao Congress in Sarajevo.
Congress will be attended by doctors from 11 countries of the Southeast Europe, as well as president of ERA-EDTA and the former president of ISN.
