Important Warning: Red Meteoalarm issued for BiH

snow weatherWeather in our country is moderate to mostly cloudy these days.

For Friday, the 13th of January, Federal Hydrometeorological Institute issued a red alert, due to abundant rainfall and stormy winds.

Rainfall is also expected in Herzegovina, western and south-western Bosnia. Stormy blows of wind are also expected in most parts of our country.

The warning is issued for the 13th of January during the day and in the night from Friday to Saturday.

Note:

In Herzegovina, western and south-western areas of Bosnia is expected heavier precipitation. The expected rainfall in the mentioned areas will be between 60 and 100 l/m2. In east Bosnia is expected from 2 to 10 l/m2, and in the rest of our country, generally, 20 to 40 l/m2. During the day will blow moderate to the strong south and southwest wind, with stormy blows. Blows will be from 40 to 60 km/h, locally up to 70 km/h, in the mountains 90 to 100 km/h, locally over 100 km/h. Snow is expected in the evening hours and in the night from Friday to Saturday. The expected height of new snow cover is 2-10 cm, locally up to 15 cm, in the mountains 10-20 cm, locally up to 30 cm.
