The Iranian attack that occurred three days ago caused significant damage to the air force base in Nabatim, despite Israeli officials’ claims to the contrary, the media from this country reported.

The documentation, made from satellite photos, shows a large hole in the roof of one of the buildings next to the main runway. Also, satellite photos show large fragments of buildings scattered near the site.

According to the Israeli Maariv, the damage to the Nevatim air base, as a result of the Iranian missile attack, “will negatively affect the Israeli air defense” because the attack “caused heavy damage”.

From the satellite photos that have been published, it cannot be determined whether there was an airplane in the damaged garage at the time of the attack. It is pointed out that “the discovery of the damage may affect the assessments of the intelligence services about the effectiveness of the Israeli air defense and the consequences of the Iranian attack”.

In the meantime, the Israeli media broadcast the conversation of the former deputy director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Olli Heinonen, to the British newspaper “The Times”, who said that the missiles launched by Iran at Israel “can be adapted to carry nuclear warheads”.

According to him, Iran could produce 10 operational warheads within six months at most.

Heinonen is known as the person who supervised Iran’s nuclear program before the IAEA.
