Increased Number of blocked Accounts of Business Entities in BiH

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 108,163 accounts of business entities were blocked in January, 149 more than at the end of the previous month, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

To date, 59,089 companies have had at least one account blocked, which is 57 more than the previous month.

This monthly report lists municipalities, sports and health organizations, economic enterprises, cooperatives, agencies, associations, and entities engaged in service activities.

As of the end of December last year, 108,014 accounts of business entities were blocked, while 59,032 companies had at least one account blocked.

In the first report of the Central Bank, published at the beginning of November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
