On May 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team will play a friendly match against North Macedonia. According to Klix.ba, a spectacle is expected at the country’s largest stadium.

This friendly match will serve as preparation for the Dragons ahead of the upcoming World Cup, which will be held for the first time across three countries: the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Tickets for this match will go on sale via an online platform in 10 days, with approximately 30,000 tickets available.

More information is expected from the country’s football association, but it is clear that interest in this match is high, as a large number of ticket requests have already been received.

The match will also serve as part of preparations for Sergej Barbarez’s squad ahead of the World Cup, which begins on June 11, and is also the perfect opportunity to give the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team a proper send-off.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team secured their place at the World Cup with playoff wins against Wales and Italy.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will play in Group B together with Canada, Switzerland, and Qatar.

Their opening match is set for June 12 in Toronto against Canada. They will then face Switzerland six days later in Inglewood, before wrapping up the group stage against Qatar in Seattle on June 24.
