Increased Traffic at the International Airport Sarajevo in August

aerodrom_sarajevo88 591 passenger passed through the International Airport Sarajevo this August, which is 11 % more than in the same period last year. Also, an increased number of 609 air flights, which is 12 % more than in the same period last year, was effectuated.

148 836 kilograms of commercial e.g. civil cargo, which is 4 % more than in the same month last year, was processed.

Last month, the International Airport Sarajevo celebrated its 18th anniversary of opening after the war. Since that day, almost 8 million passengers passed through it.

An increased traffic is expected in the period to come as well, said the PR officer of the International Airport Sarajevo, Sabina Kovač.
