There is no agreement on the dismissal of the director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, in short, this is the epilogue of today’s session of the Independent Board held in Sarajevo, which means that Darko Ćulum remains at the head of SIPA. The session of the Independent Board was held after several previous unsuccessful attempts, when there was no quorum.
“We voted on the dismissal, three members of the Independent Board supported such a proposal, four members abstained and one member was against. Ćulum remains at the head of SIPA until the Council of Ministers, possibly, makes a decision,” Enes Obralija, the president of the Independent Board, told BHRT.
Ćulum resigned from the position of SIPA director in March, however, since the Independent Board was not in session, his resignation was not accepted either. At the end of July, Darko Ćulum dropped his request and returned to his position, without giving any justification, which is why he did not come to work for four months.
