Indictment for the Crime in Štrpci Confirmed

Crime in Štrpci tvbest.rsThe State Court confirmed the indictment against the former members of the Army of the Republic of Srpska (VRS) for the kidnapping of passengers from the train in Štrpci, who were later killed in Višegrad, was confirmed from the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H.

In mid-April, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina accused Luka Dragičević, Boban and Petko Inđić, Obrad and Novak Poluga, Dragan Šekarić, Oliver Krsmanović, Radojica Ristić, Vuk Ratković and Mico Jovičić for kidnapping 20 passengers from the train Belgrade-Bar on February 27th 1993 in the village of Štrpci (Municipality Rudo).

“After the abduction, the victims were taken to the school in Prelovo near Višegrad, where they were tortured, abused and robbed, and then, with visible injuries, transported to the locality of Mušići, where they were killed and their bodies dumped in the Drina river”, it was announced from the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H, according to BIRN-Justice Report.

After the war, the remains of four victims have been found, while it is still being searched for the remains of the others.
