Infographic: What are the Monthly Salaries of Presidents in the Region

According to the recent officially published data, the President of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, has the highest monthly salary in the region. According to his property card, which was submitted to the Election Commission, his monthly salary amounts to a total of 3,332 EUR.

Monthly salaries of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and members of the Presidency of BiH are also higher then 3,000 EUR. The Committee on Conflict Resolution stated that Grabar-Kitarovic has a net salary of around 3276 EUR, while members of the Presidency of BiH earn around 3091 EUR in average.

The Central Election Commission of BiH stated that members of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegovic, Dragan Covic and Mladen Ivanic receive 2.862 EUR, 2.874 EUR, and 3.536 EUR a month.

According to public data, the President of Serbia has a three times lower salary than his neighbours from Croatia and BiH. The salary of Aleksandar Vucic amounts to 1,083 EUR a month, which is the lowest presidential salary in the whole region.

The President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic earns 2.423 EUR a month, while the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci earns 2.873 EUR.

The President of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov (1,250) and Albania Ilir Meta (1,425) also earn less than 2,000 EUR a month.

Presidents of Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia receive three times higher salaries than the average in their country, while the president of Serbia receives two times higher salary than the average salary in Serbia.

According to the latest official statistical data, the highest average salaries in the region are in Slovenia and Croatia, while the lowest are in Macedonia and BiH.
