The most interesting Statistics on the Export from BiH

In the first nine months of the year of 2017, exports from BiH amounted to a total of 8.33 billion BAM, according to the data of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH.

BH companies mostly export to Germany, Croatia, Italy, Serbia, and Slovenia, and these countries represent the traditional export markets of our country. When it comes to the structure of export,  mostly exported in the year of 2017 was furniture, and the value of its export amounted to 853 million BAM. In the second place are mineral fuel and mineral oils in the amount of 666 million BAM, and in the third place are wood and wood products in the amount of 578 million BAM.

In the first nine months of 2017, BiH exported 968 000 BAM worth tobacco and tobacco products to Seychelles. It is also interesting that we exported same products to distant Singapore in the amount of 621 000 BAM. Moreover, cigarettes from BiH ended up in the markets of Iraq, Syria, Singapore and numerous other countries.

Our country exported soap in the amount of 7,843 BAM to Kyrgyzstan this year, and we imported 774 BAM worth printed books and newspapers from this country. Kyrgyzstan is a country in central Asia that borders with China and it has about 6 million citizens.

Businessmen from BiH were active in the territory of Central Africa as well, and they sold 275 thousand BAM worth electric machines in Rwanda, furniture in the amount of 94,000 BAM as well as a few other products, which means that the value of exports from BiH to Rwanda reached the amount of 431 000 BAM in the year of 2017.

Our businessmen also exported to Suriname, a South American country that is located north of Brazil and it has around 558,000 citizens. We exported wood and wood products in the amount of 363 000 BAM to this country, as well as plastic and products made of plastics in the amount of 82 BAM.

We also exported to Vietnam, the country located in the southeastern part of Asia that has about 92 million citizens. BH companies exported goods in the amount of 1.18 million BAM to this country during the first nine months of 2017.

The island of New Caledonia is located north-east of Australia. BiH exported 1,408 BAM worth essential oils and perfumes to this country in 2017, as well as 30 000 BAM worth different other products.
