International Action against organized Crime, Searches throughout BiH

As part of the operational action codenamed “DM”, police officers of the Federal Police Administration (FPA) with the assistance of the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, conduct official actions in the area of Sarajevo Canton, Una-Sana Canton and Republika Srpska at a total of 13 locations.

The action is carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and by order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In cooperation with EUROPOL, the law enforcement agency in several European countries (Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and other EU member states), conduct search activities of property and persons – suspected members of an international group for organized crime, which operates in the territory of Western Europe, and due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they have committed criminal offenses organized crime, illegal traffic in narcotic drugs and illegal traffic in weapons and military equipment and dual-use products.

The Prosecutor’s Office pointed out that in the interest of the investigation and the international operation that is being carried out simultaneously in several countries, they cannot provide more information at this time.
