The Minister of Trade and Tourism of the Republika Srpska, Denis Šulić, opened the International Agriculture, Economy and Tourism Fair “Raspberry Days” in Bratunac, where a record 80 exhibitors from the Republika Srpska, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro participated.

Šulić congratulated the organizers on the successful organization of the event and expressed satisfaction that the fair has become traditional, as well as the number of exhibitors and visitors.

He wished that the tradition would continue and that each subsequent fair would be better than the previous one. Šulić pointed out that the relevant ministry will continue to support the organization of the Raspberry Fair, for which this municipality is recognizable and is the largest producer of this fruit in the Republic of Srpska.

The mayor of Bratunac, Lazar Prodanović, thanked the exhibitors and visitors, pointing out that the municipality is creating an environment for the raspberry to be branded and that work is being done on its processing and production of the final product from this fruit, which would enable better earnings and the creation of new jobs.

The opening of “Raspberry Day” was attended by Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska Goran Bursać, who pointed out that this ministry allocates considerable incentives for raspberry growing in Bratunac and that this will be continued.
