It is known who will take over the former McDonald’s Restaurant

After it was announced that the fast food chain KFC will open its first restaurant in Mostar, new details have emerged.

Namely, according to the Herzegovinian media, the restaurant will be opened in the former McDonald’s building on the M-17 highway, at the southern exit from the city of Mostar, in front of the Plaza shopping center.

McDonald’s left the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) market at the end of last year when all restaurants in Sarajevo and Mostar were closed.

Some former McDonald’s workers received invitations to train for work in KFC restaurants, and the opening of their first restaurant in Mostar can be expected soon.

“As the former McDonald’s “drive-thru” restaurant on the M-17 highway is located in an extremely attractive location and was not owned by the company that leased the license, KFC could already open its first restaurant in the city on the Neretva in mid-spring,” reports Danas.ba.

The second McDonald’s restaurant in Mostar, which was located in the Mepas Mall shopping center, will not be part of the new KFC franchise for the time being.

KFC has two restaurants in Sarajevo, one in Sarajevo City Center and the other in front of Bingo City Center.

The franchise holder for KFC is the Sarajevo company Tastra d.o.o, Biznis Info reports.
