Ivanka Trump is building a luxury Resort in the Balkans

While former United States (U.S.) President Donald Trump is fighting for another presidential term, his eldest daughter has other plans.

Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are building a luxury resort in Albania that will be managed by Aman Resorts, owned by Russian businessman Vladislav Doronin.

Trump confirmed the resort construction news on a recent Lex Friedman podcast.

”I am currently working with my husband. We are attracting the best architects and the best brands to the 1,400-hectare island in the Mediterranean Sea,” stated the 42-year-old, adding that the resort will be managed by the Swiss company Aman Resort, which is owned by Russian businessman Vladislav Doronin.

”It’s incredible to gather all this talent. I’m excited to and to re-engage with real estate and have fun doing it,” said Ivanka.

She explained that the food at the resort will be provided by the renowned Italian-American restaurant Carbone, managed by Major Food Group, siol.net reports. According to her, the resort will be very modern, but the terrain and vegetation will be taken care of.

”It won’t just be a pretty glass box. Of course we want glass and when you look from the resort you can see the beautiful blue sea. But we are wondering how to do it in a way that is not too generic, so that we do not lose the opportunity to create something new,” she explained.

Among those who swear by Aman Resorts properties are Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, the Kardashians, Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, Tom Hanks and many others.

The company manages more than 30 properties in 20 different countries. Rooms at their resorts cost around $1,400 (just under €1,300) per night, and individual villas more than $50,000 (€46,000).

Aman Resorts manages, among other things, a luxury resort on the Montenegrin island of Sveti Stefan. The resort is considered one of the most luxurious on the Adriatic.

In recent months, Ivanka Trump has been seen regularly at the Aman office in New York. In addition to building a resort in Albania, her husband also participates in the reconstruction of the former headquarters of the Yugoslav Ministry in Belgrade, which was bombed by NATO in 1999.

In that area, he plans to build a luxury hotel, and in agreement with the Government of Serbia, a memorial complex dedicated to all the victims of the bombing.

Ivanka and Jared will also support the campaign of Donald Trump, who is fighting for the new mandate of the U.S.president. Unlike the previous elections, this time he will not have a political function.

They met in 2007 at a business meeting and married two years later. They have three children together – daughter Arabella and sons Joseph and Theodore, Biznis Info writes.
