The leader of the SDA party and the chairman of the House of Peoples of BiH, Bakir Izetbegovic, met yesterday evening in Zagreb with the current president of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, and the former president, Stjepan Mesic.
Izetbegovic wrote on social media that they had a very open conversation about the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, and about the mutual relations between Bosniaks and Croats.
“It was jointly assessed that the relations between the two countries and the two nations are of exceptional importance, and that they must be improved through dialogue on an equal basis and in mutual interest,” Izetbegovic stated.
He said that the overall relations in the region were also discussed.
