Today, the Embassy of Japan donated specialist equipment to the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska. The equipment was handed over by the Ambassador of Japan to our country, Masami Kinefuchi, and the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić.

The Japanese donation consists of 22 surveillance cameras, which are mounted on Toyota vehicles, and which are also part of last year’s donation by the Government of Japan.

The new equipment should help and facilitate the work of police officers in the field, it was said on this occasion.

After that, a solemn ceremony was held where 22 young cadets of the 11th cadet class of the BiH Border Police took the oath.

This will strengthen the capacities of the BiH Border Police.
