productsA small group of Zenica residents, for who knows which time, decided to take things into their own hands and organize a new humanitarian campaign to help their fellow citizens in need. In a very short period of time, dozens of Zenica residents responded to the campaign “One person – one product,” who will participate in collecting of the necessary resources each month.

The initiators of this campaign are humanitarian workers Merima Zilic, Fikreta Saliji-Fejzic and Nina Sivic-Mehaj who decided to try to organize the action that will provide financial or other kind of support to vulnerable families for a longer period of time. Everything was conceived to gather a certain number of people each month who will donate at least one product or financial assistance that will be given to vulnerable families.

“The idea was that every one of us invites as many friends to donate one item for the socially vulnerable families, and every one of us have 50, 100 or more people, which means that we can make a great campaign. The response is great so far, and we managed to raise funds that we presented to more than 25 families in a short time, but we believe that we can do a lot more,” said Zilic.

Everyone who wish to participate in this action can contact Merima Zilic on her Facebook profile, and can donate anything from food and hygiene to money. The organizers of this campaign believe that they will make happy even more families and that they will bring more smiles to children’s faces.
