In order to efficiently and safely carry out special tasks and operations that are beyond the scope of the level and training programs of other police organizational units, the Brcko District Police of BiH is conducting an exercise on Wednesday to use acquired special skills, elements of special police tactics and the use of modern material and technical means and equipment.

Given the legally established competencies, members of the Special Police Unit and intervention teams of the Brcko District Police of BiH and the Special Support Unit of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) are jointly participating in the exercise.

The emphasis of the exercise is on testing the level of readiness of these police agencies to effectively carry out the most complex tasks and tasks in a planned, coordinated and mutually cooperative manner.

The exercise is being carried out within the scope of the bypass around Brcko in the Potočari – Gornji Brezik area, which is why the police inform citizens that there are no reasons for concern and anxiety.

The Police of the Brčko District of BiH will continue to carry out the tasks and tasks established by law independently and in cooperation with all police agencies in BiH, all with the aim of preserving the achieved level of security, mutual trust and tolerance in a multi-ethnic environment such as Brčko.
