PressB&H Journalist’s Association on Thursday will open in Neum the Journalistic Academy for the students of Journalism and for young  journalists. The focus will be on producing content that will promote the reduction of hate speech in the public space.

During the six days of the Academy, young journalists and students from across the country with the mentors from B&H and with the expert from the Council of Europe from Denmark will study the examples and regulations of  B&H and the EU relating to hate speech and reporting on diversity.

Also, within the Academy will be working on their stories that would promote the fight against hate speech.

After that, their works will be published in the media and presented at the Conference in November which will be attended by representatives of the Council of Europe, the representatives of the governments of Norway and Ireland, national and international organizations.

Journalists Academy will be organized with the support of the Council of Europe within the framework of the project “Promotion of professionalism and tolerance in the media in B&H“, financed by the Government of Norway and the Republic of Ireland.
