Karleusa insults young Man who attended Protests: “He’s reciting a Prayer from the Quran, what is he doing in Belgrade?”

Jelena Karleusa, in defense of the regime in Serbia, insulted a young man who appeared at student protests in Serbia on social media. After receiving negative comments, she attempted to justify herself with even more shocking claims.

She first shared his photo, where he is holding a sign that reads: “We don’t have a constitution, but we have a stance.” The Serbian singer wrote that he is her Wolt delivery person and does not speak Serbian. Many citizens of Serbia accused her of being racist.

“Karleusa, the plastic screecher, is insulting a student on Instagram with racism I haven’t heard in Serbia in a long time,” “And Instagram won’t remove the stories where Karleusa targets a student because ‘it doesn’t violate their standards’… Interesting, I just didn’t know racism wasn’t against their standards,” were some of the comments on X.

She didn’t stop there and, two days ago, once again commented on this young man on Instagram.

“Dear citizens of Serbia, this is a young man who is part of anything but student protests currently happening across Serbia. He is not a citizen of Serbia, does not study in Serbia, and does not have a residence visa. In this video, as my fans of the Islamic faith explained to me, he is reciting a prayer in Arabic from the Quran,” she wrote.

She went on to question what he was doing at the protests in Belgrade, what visa he entered with, how he was staying in the country, and what his intentions were. She suggested that the police should address this matter.

“At the protests, he held a sign saying: ‘We don’t have a constitution.’ I don’t know if, when he says we don’t have something, he means the African country he comes from, but someone should explain to him that Serbia has both a constitution and laws,” she posted.

The young man, whose name is Brahim, responded on social media and clarified that he is a student in Serbia.

“As a student, it was important for me to support common goals and values. They published my photo from the protest without my consent, along with incorrect information about me. This was also shared by the singer Jelena Karleusa, who accused me of things that are not true. Thank you to everyone who supported me during these days,” he said, among other things, Klix.ba writes.
