Kavazovic: May Ramadan touch the Heart of every Person

Tonight, with the evening prayer, we enter the magnificent Ramadan, the month of fasting and God-fearing, the month of our spiritual ascension and great hopes, pointed out the reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community (IZ) in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović in his Ramadan message to Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, homeland and diaspora.

“Ramadan is a blessed time, and our actions in it gain special significance – both the good and the bad are magnified. Therefore, let’s take care of our actions. May Ramadan touch the heart of every person and ennoble it with its nobility. The tradition of us teaches that Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the most generous man, and that he was especially generous in Ramadan. And Allah is generous in this month, and so should believers, Muslims and Muslim women, be. Allah is merciful, and His mercy in this month is even greater. Be merciful to His creatures and let it be seen that you are fasting. Open your hearts to the mercy of Ramadan, fill them with love for others, especially for your own. Be patient and modest and let your fasting, the teaching of the Qur’an , taravih prayer, mukabele and other acts of worship be decorated with the ornaments of quiet and sincere piety,” states the message transmitted by MINA News agency.

Reis Kavazović called on the faithful to consecrate the month of Ramadan and pray for help to the victims.

“May Allah gently usher us into the month of His mercy, open the way for us to its blessings and accept from us every good we do in it. In your prayers, remember the innocent people in the world, especially in Palestine and Ukraine, who suffer and are exposed to unprecedented sufferings. Let’s ask our Lord to remove evil from them, protect them with his protection and bring peace to these countries. I wish Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, homeland countries and the world to spend Ramadan in peace, worship, with their loved ones and neighbors, dedicated to the values and on the foundations of his lofty religion of Islam. Ramazan serif mubarek olsun!”, stressed Reis Kavazović.
