On the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day High Representative Christian Schmidt attended the Central Commemorative Academy organized by the Sarajevo Jewish Community.
“Understanding the depth of human nature will never be thorough enough to comprehend the horrific effects of the Holocaust. Remembering the Holocaust victims and survivors by keeping them alive in our memory is a minimum of what each one of us can do to honor them.
Let us keep the memory alive, but also to serve as a stark reminder of what we must not be allowed to happen,” said the High Representative.
