Construction of the complex City beach begins in the settlement Rudenice. It will have an outdoor pool with a café restaurant, outdoor sport fields and other thematic contents.

Since this part of the Una Sana Canton is known for its potentials for the development of rural tourism, investors and architects hope that the City Beach will attract many tourists who usually come because of the surrounding attractions like the National Park Una.

According to the architect Bojan Šipka, works are to begin soon and they will be completed in June 2017. Entire investment is worth 2.4 million BAM and investors are Emsud and Jasmin Ljutić who live in Luzern.

“In the first stage the facility will have seasonal character and later, as the number of amenities increases, parts of the complex will be in function throughout the year. The complex is designed in accordance with all current standards and recommendations for this type of facilities and the location of construction.

Dominant materials are nature concrete and wood, with greenery on the parterre and opened and semi-opened spaces.

“Ključ is a small community with a historical legacy, a beautiful and specific nature. Number of residents increases significantly during summer. One part of its residents lives in Western Europe, and there are also tourists. In accordance with the growing interest in this area, the idea about the construction of new urban contents was born. This project merges the need and habits of people whose lives are related both with Western Europe and Ključ,” said Šipka.

Number of tourists significantly increased in Ključ lately and this complex will create a new image of the municipality.

“Local government is fully included in this project and this project has been recognized as significant since the very beginning. Administration of Ključ has participated professionally and operationally in eliminating and solving of all problems, from administrational ones to infrastructural ones,” Šipka emphasized.

Capacities for tourist accommodation are not included in the first stage of the project.
