Saša Trnjanin (47) from Gradiška and his fellow citizen Miroslav Majstorac (44), from whom the police seized about 62 kg of skunk worth about 250,000 marks in the “Armageddon” operation, were proposed to be detained, while the case also includes D.L. from Gradiška who is on the run.

Namely, the acting prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Banjaluka, after questioning the suspects, submitted to the District Court in Banjaluka a motion to order Trnjanin to be detained on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs in connection with the criminal offense of energy theft and for Majstorac for the criminal offense unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs.

“The report was also submitted against the person D.L. from Gradiška (the person is not available to the prosecuting authorities and is on the run) for the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs,” the Prosecutor’s Office states.

They add that from January 5 to May 8 of this year, they were in Bok Jankovac in Gradiška together and by prior agreement, in the auxiliary building of the house used by the first suspect, they acquired equipment and seeds, and planted and grew skunk.

During the search carried out by the police officers of the PU Gradiška in cooperation with the District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Banjaluka and by order of the competent court, 151 stalks were temporarily confiscated, which by their appearance are associated with the narcotic drug skunk, with a total weight of about 62 kilograms.

“The prosecutor submitted a motion to determine a measure of custody due to the existence of a well-founded fear that the suspect could influence the witnesses while at liberty, due to the existence of special circumstances that justify the fear that the suspect will repeat the criminal offense, and due to extraordinary circumstances because it is a criminal offense for which can be imposed a prison sentence of ten years or a heavier sentence, and which is particularly difficult considering the manner of execution or the consequences of the criminal offense and that the release of the suspects would result in a real threat of public order disruption – public disturbance,” the Prosecutor’s Office stated.

The judge for the preliminary proceedings of the District Court in Banja Luka will decide on the proposal for the determination of the detention measure.

Let us remind you that in addition to drugs, UV lamps, pots, means for treating stems, air dehumidifiers, air conditioners, as well as other accompanying equipment found on the spot were found and confiscated during the search.

It was also established that the suspect had connected himself to the power grid without authorization, which resulted in the unauthorized use of electricity.
