With very little support of domestic public, Kung Fu Wushu national team of BiH is achieving remarkable results in international competitions for years, as it was the case this year in the 3rd Balkan Wushu Championship, held from the 3rd to 5th of June in the Turkish city of Edirne.

Kung Fu Wushu Association of BiH sent 40 competitors, led by the selectors and coach Mirsad Nokto, who competed in three disciplines, Sanda (full contact), Quinda (half contact) and Taolo (individual forms and forms with weapons).

They won 32 medals, 9 gold, 12 silver and 11 bronze medals, and achieved second place in the overall standings after the first-placed Turkey.

Kung Fu Wushu Association of BiH received several important recognitions for contribution to the development of this sport.
