“Lack of wisdom and desire to abuse the situation prevailed this time as well”

Željko Komšić, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said today in Sarajevo that, if he were in the place of the decision-makers in Serbia, he would be a co-sponsor of the resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica.

Komšić said that he would do so because the resolution on Srebrenica, he emphasized, is not directed against any nation or state and does not speak of any collective guilt.

He also said that the resolution talks about what happened in 1995 and the need to preserve the memory of those moments and especially the victims.

“When it comes to official Belgrade’s policy regarding the resolution on Srebrenica, I expected them to act smarter. Unfortunately, the lack of wisdom and the desire to abuse the situation prevailed this time as well,” said Željko Komšić, a member of the BiH Presidency, Fena writes.
