Larisa Cerić was named the best athlete of the year during the event organized by the Olympic Committee of B&H.
23 years old judo representative of B&H won the award thanks to the 2nd place she won at the European Championship in Montpellier, 3rd place at the Grand Prix in Bucharest and her victories at numerous European cups.
Among men, this award was assigned to the skier Igor Laikert and Judaist Harun Sadiković.
The Olympic Committee also awarded Branislav Crnogorac as the best coach in 2014. Crnogorac is the selector of the judo representation of B&H.
The most successful representation of B&H in 2014 is the football A representation of B&H while the best clubs are the AC Borac and the BC Spars.
The best young athlete in the category of juniors is the Judaist Aleksandra Samardžić while among man it’s Vedad Ramić (swimming).
