Siniša Karan, the candidate of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats for the presidency of the RS, is leading by 1.95 percent over Branka Blanuša, the candidate of the Serbian Democratic Party, in the early presidential elections in the Republika Srpska – the latest data from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Preliminary and incomplete results of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina show that Karan has 217,638 votes or 50.31 percent, and Blanuša has 209,207 votes or 48.36 percent.
99.72 percent of polling stations have been processed. 98.21 percent of valid ballots are valid, while the turnout is 34.84 percent.
823,878 voters did not vote.
1,264,364 voters were eligible to vote in the early presidential elections for the Republika Srpska, which were held yesterday, November 23.
The Serbian Democratic Party announced that it would ask the CEC to repeat the elections in Zvornik, Doboj and Laktaši “due to massive theft”.
