The greatest cleaning action in BiH ‘Let’s do it- clean the Earth for one day’ which was organised on 18 May went very well in Tuzla with 800 volunteers participating and more than 5000 garbage bags collected.
The aim of the action was to incite citizens to care about their environment.
Coordinator of Let’s Do It team Tuzla Amar Kavgić said that illegal landfills were marked, a promotional campaign created and cooperation was achieved between citizens and volunteers all in order to clean their surroundings.
Tuzla Municipality and Civil Protection of Tuzla helped the action and after it finished the remaining food, drinks, bags and gloves were donated to Home for Children Without Parents, said Let’s Do It Team Tuzla.
