Emir Spahić balkans.aljazeera.netAlthough he spent less than two years in Leverkusen, uncompromising fighter Emir Spahić has gained great sympathy and respect from the fans of this club.

Due to the well-known incident that occurred just after dropping out of the DFB Cup because of Bayern, Spahić got fired from the club few days later.

Regardless of the stain at the end of the story, fans of the Pharmacists said goodbye to Spahić with a beautiful choreography staged at yesterday’s match against Hannover.

With numerous T-shirts with Spahić’s number five, a banner with Spahić’s image and the BH flag, and with the banner that said “Thank you, Emir” in both German and Bosnian, the  supporters of Bayer said thanks to the player of National team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
