The body of a man was found in the village of Gornji Zovik at a location near the “St. Bernard” mountain lodge, it was confirmed by the Brčko District Prosecutor’s Office.

Because of this, one person was deprived of his liberty, but the Prosecutor’s Office of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated that they cannot confirm whether it was a murder or another criminal act.

An investigation was carried out under the supervision of the prosecutor on duty and the body was transported to the city morgue, where an autopsy will be performed without delay.

“The prosecutor’s office, in cooperation with the Brčko District police, continues to undertake and order measures and actions within the jurisdiction of the investigative authorities, in order to establish and clarify the circumstances of this event. In the interest of the procedure, we are currently unable to publish more information,” the institution said.

Unofficially, BHRT has learned that the victim is a 63-year-old man with the initials L.Č. who lived in Boć.
