In Una-Sana Canton, 63,000, or 24% of the population, were vaccinated. Many of the citizens are looking for the Pfizer vaccine, which there is the least, so the immunization rate is low.

In the meantime, due to the expiration date, 3,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine failed.

Poll

“I’m afraid. The reason they say even after the vaccine is that the people get the coronavirus.”

“They’re wrong, nothing else. It’s normal. It’s been the flu so far, so they’ve been vaccinated. They only create worse for themselves, nothing else around us.”

MURIS HALKIC, Minister of Health of Una-Sana Canton “Social networks give the greatest importance to that, people are not informed about what is good, there is a lot of propaganda. The greatest interest is for Pfizer, although everyone who is accepted is good because it will protect us from a difficult clinical picture,” said Halkic.

The highest number of vaccines is AstraZeneca vaccine, which is currently available in the Una-Sana Canton, but its deadline is until the end of this month, which is why all quantities have been sent to the Health Centers in order to vaccinate as many citizens as possible.

Data on the number of vaccinated will be known in the coming days. The winter ahead it does not promise us an improvement in the epidemiological situation. Authorities are therefore appealing to the population to get vaccinated.

AHMED MASIC, Department of Family Medicine and Covid Clinic in DZ Bihac

“20 to 25 patients a day pass through our clinic, of which only five percent or less are sent to the hospital. The number has stagnated for a month, but in November it is expected to worsen, as with other seasonal diseases because November and March are times of deterioration. . “, said Masic.

In previous months, vaccination of migrants staying in the centers of Una-Sana Canton was organized. So far, more than 9,300 people have been infected with the coronavirus in this canton.
